Funeral services for Nell Evans, 72, of Anacoco, will be held Friday,
February 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. David Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery in Evans. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on
Friday, February 26 from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville
Nell, the daughter of George H. and Jennie Mae Hodge Logan was born on August
23, 1937 in Memphis, Tenn. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in her residence. She moved to Evans in 1960.
She was preceded in death by son, Floyd Evans and brother, Wayne Logan.
She is
survived by sons, Joel (wife, Lisa) Evans of Evans and Eddie (wife, Karen) Evans of Burr Ferry; daughters, Kathy Evans of Anacoco and Joyce (husband, Bryan) Davis of Theodore, Ala.; brother, Mike Logan of Anacoco; sisters, Linda Behan of LaCamp and
Helen Cleveland of Merryville; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
