Funeral services for Barry Thomas Parks, 55, of Leesville, will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Melton Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the
Leesville Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25 from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Barry, the son of
Joseph and Florence Weller Parks was born on April 23, 1954. He passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. Mr. Parks was a handy man and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in
death by his wife and children.
He is survived by brother Joseph Parks of Bangor, Pa. and two special friends, Bessie Stephens of Leesville and Merle Brack of Leesville.
