Memorial services for Daniel Allen “Big Dan” McClintock, 52, of
Leesville, will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Freedom Rest Baptist Church in Anacoco, with Rev. James Kay officiating. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Daniel,
the son of Charles Edward and Martha Virginia Pflteenreuter McClintock, Sr. was born on June 17, 1957 in Loiret, France. He passed away on February 14, 2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. He was a loving father and great friend and was loved
by all. He leaves behind great stories that will be remembered by his friends and family (one that stands out is the time he wrestled a bear). He was the best dad and friend in the world, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by
his children, Emaly McClintock, Elijah McClintock, & Cassie McClintock all of Burr Ferry; brother, Charles McClintock, Jr. of New Llano; sister, Norma Baka of Maryland and two grandchildren, Axel McClintock and Elijah McClintock II.
