Elma Bell Pruett Maines, 102, of Zwolle died on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Rosepine Retirement in
Rosepine.
She was born on February 12, 1907 in Bethsadia.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Maines and wife Cynthia of Leesville; daughter, Sharon Ebers and husband Daryl of Lyone, Texas; brothers, Earl Pruett of Zwolle
and Felton Pruett of Shreveport; 10 grand children; 20 great grand children and 10 great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hamp and Ada Pruett; husband,
Coleman Maines; three children, Hugh Larson Maines, Arron Vernie Maines, and Delwyn Alvern Maines; 10 brothers and sisters and granddaughters, Tanya Kay Riggs and Candice Marie Trimm.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday,
February 8, 2010 at Bayou Scie Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Hooton officiating. Interment will be in Bayou Scie Cemetery in Zwolle.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Warren
Meadows Funeral Home in Many.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Maines, Charles Neal, Andy Bland, Gordy Raines, Chuck Raines and Luke Raines.
