Master Sgt. Richard L. Hall

Master Sgt. (ret.) Richard L. Hall , U.S. Army, 65, passed on February 7, 2010 in Sulphur.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home with the Revs. Edgar Evans
and Robert Eckerle officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Po Ok Hall of Leesville; one brother,
Charles A. Hall, II of Tallahassee, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, fellow veterans and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Hall proudly served in the United States Army for
21 years, 7 months, and 4 days until his retirement on October 31, 1983, as a master sergeant. He served his country in Korea, Germany, Alaska and Vietnam. He later worked for the director of logistics at Fort Polk. Mr. Hall was a member of the VFW
Post 3106, American Legion Post 145 and DAV. His hobbies were collecting, cutting and polishing rocks. He also made clocks and other crafts. “He is gone but never forgotten. May he now rest in peace.”
