Funeral services for Nettie B. Davis, 87, of Leesville will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10
a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Anacoco, with Bro. D. R. Davis and Bro. Donald Ray Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be Friday, January 15 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the funeral home
and on Saturday, January 16 from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. Davis passed away on Jan. 13, 2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Mrs. Nettie was an ideal wife, mother, and Christian example. She was a strong prayer warrior, and everything she did was done with kindness and humility. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anacoco. She will be greatly missed by everyone
who ever was blessed to know her, but our comfort is found in knowing that her faith has now become sight.
She is survived by one son, Durhl Ray Davis and wife Sheila of Anacoco; one daughter, Patricia Ann Bruce and husband Don of
Leesville; one brother, Donald Ray Bush and wife Dorothy of Keithville; four grandchildren, Durhl Davis, Jr. and wife Misty of Alexandria, John D. Davis and wife Dona of Leesville, Shonda Wiggins and husband Ronnie of Anacoco and Jason T. Bruce and
wife Kristen of Gardner; eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Kaitlyn and Mathew Davis, Joshua and Holly Davis, and Jordon and Scott Wiggins and two step great grandchildren, Kristopher and Zoe.
Nettie was preceded in death by her
beloved husband, Wilford Durhl Davis; parents, Leo and Mary Bush and brothers, Leroy, R.J. and W.D. Bush.
