Funeral services for Nathaniel Allen Ford, 87, of Leesville will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at
11 a.m. at First St. Paul Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Gaither officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral at the church. Services are
under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Ford, the son of William and Nettie Hamilton Ford, was born on August 5, 1922 in Leesville. He passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital
in Leesville. He served in the U.S. Army having served in War War II. He loved mechanic work and loved to piddle around in his yard. He was a loving and giving father.
He is survived by his five sons, Nathaniel Allen Ford Walton, of
Leesville, Nathaniel Ford of Philadelphia, Kenneth Ford of Philadelphia, James Nathan Walton of Yazoo, MS and George David Walton of Leesville; five daughters, Brenda Louise Simpson of Baltimore, MD, Juanita Sutton of Philadelphia, PA, Laura Stewart
of Leesville, Mary Robinson of Leesville and Christine McGown of Rosepine; three brothers Lawrence Ford of Leesville, Manuel Ford of Leesville and James Ford of California and thirty grandchildren.
