Funeral services for Anna Agnes Sherrill, 89, of Leesville will be held Tuesday, December 29 at 10 a.m. at the Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville. Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 28 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at
the funeral home, with a Rosary being held at 6 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. Sherrill, the daughter
of Anthony and Josephine Monentleon Venezia, was born on November 20, 1920 in Opelousas. She passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years,
Samuel T. Sherrill; daughter, Ann Teresa; her parents, Anthony and Josephine Venezia; eight brothers, John, Nick, Vincent, Rufus, Anthony, Jr., Vick, Charles and Joe and two sisters, Rose Stoltz and Pearl Huber.
She is survived by two
sons, James R. (wife Libby) Sherrill of Martinez, Ga. and Albert T. (wife, Lynette) Sherrill of New Braunfels, Texas; two grandsons, Steven T. Sherrill and John Sherrill and one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Michelle Sherrill.
