Services for Eudora Emma Martin Lamprich will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, with Bro. Durhl Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco with
grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
A native of Anacoco, Eudora
died Tuesday, Dec. 1 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was 91 years of age.
She worked in the field of nursing for many years. After retirement she was instrumental in establishing a Senior Citizen Center in Anacoco, serving
as the first President of the Advisory Council. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by sons, Ted Lamprich, Jr. of Farmerville and Bill and
wife Jo Ann Lamprich of Minden; daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Ronald Guidry of Baton Rouge, Gail and Jim Phillips of Pitkin; three sisters, Pearlie McConathy, Mildred Martin and Edith Mattox and sisters-in-law Alta Lamprich, Eloise Martin and
Ema Martin. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ted Lamprich, Sr.; parents, Rev. H. A. and Lizzie Martin; brothers, Fay, Felton,
Elton and Jack; sister, Myrtle Mattox; grandson, Brad Allen Lamprich and beloved daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Lamprich.
