Funeral services for Ruby Hilton Legg will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, at the Family Worship
Center in Leesville. Rev. Melton Mitchell will officiate and the burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Friends may visit Tuesday, November 24, beginning at 5 p.m. at the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby
Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Ruby was born on October 15, 1933, in Hornbeck, the daughter of Lee and Maggie Hilton.
Mrs. Ruby was a member of the Family Worship Center. She managed the Top Value Stamp Redemption
Center until its closure, and she later retired from Fort Polk. Most importantly, Ruby lived life to the fullest and completed her true calling of being a servant. She was a faithful servant to her Lord, her family, and her
friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 46 years, James Legg and her brothers Chester, Preston, and Leemon Hilton.
Mrs. Legg is survived by her daughters, Martha and husband Robert Yarbrough of
Leesville, Sharon Moore of Baton Rouge and Glenda and husband Bruce Stanley of Leesville; brother, Jack and wife Edith Hilton, and sister, Ruth Spillers all of Leesville; grandchildren, Greg Yarbrough, Becky and Stuart Folse, Ryan Moore, Mandy and
Chris Wright, Kasey and O’Dell Ware and Darin Stanley; Great Grandchildren, Parker, Aiden, and Braxton Folse, and Addy Kate Wright.
Mrs. Ruby’s extended family at Family Worship Center in Leesville were very dear to her
heart.
A special Thank You from her daughters is extended to Dr. Hanna Lubbos, Dr. Jocelyne Saikali, Dr. Chip Warshaw, Dr. Ulla Ule, and Dr. Lawrence Menache for their dedicated care and friendship to their mama.
