Cora Brack Stracener

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora A. Brack Stracener were held in the Chapel of Smart & Son Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Joe Reverend officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs, Fort Polk.
Cora, 42, passed away
in Leesville on Nov. 19, 2009.
She was born in Alexandria, but raised in Leesville. She was an avid bunco player, who enjoyed winning as much as anyone. Her family recalls days that she would go missing only to find out later she was
fishing. She will be missed.
Survivors are her husband, Wade Gosnell of Leesville; her two children, Anthony Stracener of Anacoco and Jennifer Stracener of DeQuincy and her two grandchildren, Cameron Berzas and Owen Stracener. Other
survivors are her mother and her step-dad Dovie and John Nichols of Call, Texas; her brothers, Ronnie Baker of Sugartown, Benny Baker of Mo., Johnny Baker of Wichita, Kan., Larry Baker of Houston, Texas and William “Peanut” Brack of Dry Creek; her
sister Cathy Turner of Leesville and her twin sister, Laura Joann Brack of Anacoco.
Cora was preceded in death by her father, William Brack.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and again at 8
a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
