Funeral services for Betty Lea McInnis Perkins, age 76, of Anacoco will be held Tuesday, November 17 at
10 a.m. in the Labby Memorial Chapel in Leesville with Bro Irby Perkins, Jr. and Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, Nov 16 and then 8 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, Nov 17 in the funeral home.
Burial will follow at McInnis Cemetery in Anacoco. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. Perkins passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Woodlands Health Care Center in
Leesville.
Pallbearers will be John Perkins, Rod Perkins, Steven Perkins, Buck Massey, Willard McInnis, J. D. Haymon, Jimmie Haymon and David Cyr. With Honorary Pallbearers being Colton Milsap, Tanner Perkins, Payton Perkins and
Christopher Clark.
Mrs. Perkins was born in Anacoco and was a lifelong resident of the Anacoco Community. She was the daughter of Johnnie Lee and Flora Louise Leonard McInnis. She was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church in
Anacoco. She was a homemaker where she loved taking care of her family, her hummingbirds and her squirrels. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Steven Trampus Perkins, brother Elmer McInnis and sister Minnie
Thompson.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerald W. Perkins of Anacoco; sons, John and Kay Perkins of Anacoco, Rod and Pam Perkins of Ozark, AR and Cletus Perkins of Dallas, TX; Brother C. D. McInnis of Anacoco;
Grandchildren, Amanda and Tom Coulter, Beverly and Chad Milsap and Steven and Tanya Perkins; Great grandchildren, Kaityln Coulter, Sierra Milsap, Colton Milsap, Cheyenne Milsap, Tanner Perkins and Payton Perkins.
