Edward P. “Eddie” Green, 44, passed from this world into the presence of the Lord on November 2, 2009 at
his home in Leesville. He was born December 4, 1964 in Vallejo, CA. Eddie was employed by Cepolk at Ft. Polk for six years.
He was a wonderful man who loved to be around family and friends. Eddie was an avid sports fan who enjoyed
fishing and other outdoor activities. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Edward is preceded in death by brothers Ronnie William and John Matthew; sister, Samantha Fay; grandparents, John and Beaulah McDermott,
Bennie Edward and Audrey Harris; uncles, Richard Green, Joe and Jimmy Harris.
He is survived by his beloved family. Parents, Patrick C. and Shirley M. Green; brothers, Robert Green and wife Jessica, Pat Green, Jr. and wife Beth, Greg
Green and wife Tabatha, all of Leesville; nieces, Courtney, Paige, Madison and Ashlynn; nephews, Kyle, Briar, Josh and Brandon; a special Aunt and Uncle, Sharon and Charles Hughes and their sons, Todd Lowery and wife Melinda, Victor Lowery and wife
Melissa, Ben Lowery and wife Shawn and David Lowery and wife Kelly, all of Mississippi. Aunts, Bonnie Adams, Bessie Nimon, Darlene Landry; uncles, Michael Harris, John Paul Harris along with their families.
Visitation will be held from
4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Cooper Baptist Church and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 6, at the Church. Rev. Edgar Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Stephen’s Cemetery of Leesville
under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Cooper Baptist Church Building Fund. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfh.com.
