Funeral services for Euna “Mutt” Brown Blackmon, 93, of Leesville will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 9 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Elder Wayne Painter officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper
Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, October 8 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. Blackmon the daughter of William and Ida Perkins
Brown was born on July 15, 1916 in Vernon Parish. A native of Vernon Parish, she lived in the Pickering community all her life. She was a farmer, gardener, cattlewoman and loved to hunt and fish for many years. She was a member of Enon Primitive
Baptist Church until it disbanded in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Elder Hermon J. Blackmon.
Pallbearers will be Terry Blackmon, Todd Blackmon, Alan Hardin, Lynn Brown, Gary Brown and Larry
Joe Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Cynthia Gillespie, Jane Formby and David Jordan.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hardin of Pickering; two sons; William R. Blackmon of Effie, and David F. Blackmon and wife Pat of
Crowville; grandson Todd Blackmon and wife Terayza of Houston, Texas, whom she raised as her son; brother, Joe Brown of Leesville; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

to Hospice of Leesville, 106 East Lula Street Leesville, LA 71446.
