EVAN “BUGGY” WILLIS

The family of Buggy Willis will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2009
at Blanchard St. Denis. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Providence Baptist Church in Rosepine, with Reverend Arlen Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of
Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.
Buggy, 23, passed away Saturday October 3, 2009. Buggy played football at NCHS for 4 years. He was a gifted violinist and bassist with NC orchestra. He worked for Halliburton Quanta
Pipeline and for Nugent Farms. He planned to attend college in the fall but after his step dad, Kenny’s death he stayed at home with his mother, Lisa.
Buggy’s favorite things were playing with Ross, taking care of his mom, taking Ross
to buy DS games, riding Buck, taking Ross to the movies, playing games and taking care of Ross, running Frog around everywhere and complaining Frog had more of a social life, fussing with Will and never getting anywhere, laughing at Joseph while
always having his back, going to see his dad, Norman, planning to fish – not. Last week he just bought his first fishing license and rod and reel. Taking care of Ross. Buggy was saved at 12 years old and he is in heaven with Kenny and Frog. Buggy
always said “I was never bad, just misunderstood”
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Hunt Brossette Nugent; maternal father, Floyd Willis, Jr. Dad, Norman Lirette, Jr.; Kenneth Wayne Brossette, Sr. and Kevin Nugent; Grandparents,
Johnny and Patsy Hunt of Pitkin and Floyd and Bridgette Willis of Pitkin; step grand parents, Jerry and Theresa Nugent and Robert Brossette of Cloutierville; brothers and sisters, Ross Chandler Brossette, Joseph Lirette and Rachel Broadway Lirette,
William Willis, Clint Willis, Heather Willis, Amber Willis, Dawn Lirette, Norman Lirette, III, Tiffany Nugent, Lauren Nugent, Mallory Nugent and Michael Brossett; Aunts and Uncles, Lynn Diamond of Baton Rouge; Uncle, Johnny Hunt III of Bundicks Lake,

He was preceded in death by Stepdad Kenneth Brossette, brother, Kenneth “Frog” Brossette, Jr.; Stepgrandparents, Pauline and Norman Lirette, Sr., Dorothy
Brossette and Uncle, Mark Brossette.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include “Lil” Ricky Lirette, II, Matthew Hurley, Michael Hurley, Johnny Hunt III, Joel Lucky, Robert Phillips, Bryant Mitcham, Lowell Pomerantz and William
Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Brossette and Joseph Paul Lirette.
