Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jo Johnson will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 in the Rush Chape in Pitkin with Reverend Gary Bankson officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery, Fullerton under the
direction of Rush Funeral Home of Pitkin.
Mrs. Johnson, 65, of Pitkin entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in her residence with her family near her side.
Bobbie was the best wife and mother in the
world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Katheryn Smith.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-five years, Harvey Ray Johnson of Pitkin; one son,
Alfred Ray Johnson and his wife, Deborah of Pitkin; four daughters, Shonda Gail Johnson of Pitkin, Rhonda Gail Zills and her husband, Greg of Rosepine, Colinda Gail Thomas and her husband, Jason of Pitkin and Brenda Gail Waddell and her husband, Kyle
of Rosepine; two brothers, William Hershel Smith of DeRidder and Jimmy Lee Smith of Rosepine; one brother-in-law, James Kenneth Johnson of Merryville; two sisters-in-law, Rellie Ann Ashworth and Kathern Ann Cardy, both of Pitkin and eight
grandchildren.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pitkin on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Friday, September 11, 1009 from 8 a.m. until time
of services at 10 a.m.
