FISHER “BO” SNELL

Funeral services for Fisher B. “Bo” Snell, 84, of Leesville will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 5th, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hornbeck with Rev. Larry Welch officiating. The burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery
in Hornbeck. Friends may visit Friday, September 4th from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Bo was born on June 6,
1925 to Fisher E. and Pearl Owers Snell in Barham. He passed away Thursday, September 3 at the Woodlands Heathcare Center in Leesville. He was a longtime residence of Hornbeck until he retired then moved to Provincal. He served in the US Navy and was
a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Snell attended Kisatchie Baptist Church for a number of years. He worked for Palmer Motors in Leesville until he opened Snell’s Paint and Body Shop in Leesville which he operated for 25 years. After he
retired from the body shop he continued to work at home building and repairing cow hide rocking chairs. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Robbie Snell, and his daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo and Johnnie Ray James.
He
is survived by his granddaughter, Pam Robertson of Leesville; great grandchildren, Beau and wife Angela Bacon and Tessa Bacon; great great grandchildren, Brittany and Natalie Bacon.
