Funeral services for Mr. Martin Travis Carroll will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Glade Branch Baptist Church, Pitkin. Interment will follow in Blackjack Cemetery, Pitkin under the direction of Rush Funeral Home,
Pitkin.
Mr. Carroll, 66, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2009 in his residence.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his four sons, David Anthony Carroll of Pitkin, Samuel
Dewayne Carroll and his wife, Anne of Lacey, Washington, Marty William Carroll and Shannon Ray Carroll, both of Pitkin; two daughters, Pamela Denise Erwin and her husband, Bobby of New Orleans and Leisha Faye Spriggs and her husband, Kenneth of
Oakdale; one brother, Gervis Richmond and his wife, Helen of Hamilton, Texas; three sisters, Esther Burr of Mansfield, Nola Faye Johnson and her husband, Harlis of Pitkin and Diana Gayle Elliott of Leesville; fourteen grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at Glade Branch Baptist Church, Pitkin on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 2009 from 5 p.m. until time of services on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 10 a.m.
