Johnnie D. Coates, 60, of Forrest City, formally of Leesville, died Monday July 27, 2009 in Forrest City. He is survived by wife, Orlean Coates, three sons, Johnny Coates of Slagle, Darrell Coates of Quitman, Ark., and Jeffery Coates of
Bigelow, Ark.; two step sons Adam Gigliano of Crowley, Texas and Wayne Hagan of Forrest City; one daughter Christy Keown of Westor; two brothers Dewayne Coates of Pineville, and Ronnie Coates of North Carolina; nine grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday July 30, at the Moro Pentecostal Church under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro, Ark.
