Funeral services for Dewayne Charles Shaffett will be at 2 p.m., today, July 19, 2009, in the Glade
Branch Baptist Church in Pitkin with the Reverend J. Russell DeVore officiating.
Committal services will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home,
Oakdale.

Dewayne, 58, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 17, 2009. He was born on March 14, 1951, in Deridder to the union of Eugene Howard Shaffett and Alice M. Mullen Shaffett. Mr. Shaffett was a member of Glade
Branch Baptist Church, where he played piano for the congregation and he was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.

His parents precede him in death.

He leaves behind his loving family to
cherish his memory, one brother, Wilmer Larry Shaffett and wife, Betty of Pitkin; one sister, Bonnie S. Johnson of Pitkin; one niece, Sheryl Fontenot and husband, Craig; two nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Shaffett, and Maurice Shaffett and wife,
Kimberly.

Friends may call today at the church until time of service.
