Funeral services for Mr. George Franklin will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church in Hornbeck with Bro. Steve Lora officiating. Burial will follow in the Self Cemetery in Hornbeck under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Franklin, 60, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Anderson’s Hospital.
Survivors
include wife, Betty Franklin of Decatur; four daughters: Ann Cook and husband John of Webster, Fla., Lisa Martin and husband David of Hornbeck, Anna Saylers of Simms, Texas and Rebecca Lawrence and husband Otis of Hornbeck; three sons: Ben Rainer and
wife Joan of Dekalb, Texas, Robert Rainer of Holopaw, Fla. and Charles Rainer abd wife Jennifer of Simms, Texas; two sisters and seven brothers; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Franklin was
preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Franklin and parents, James and Venus Franklin.
