Funeral services for Debora Ann Robertson will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the First
Baptist Church of Hornbeck with the Rev. Joey Williams and Rev. Bill Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until
9 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Hornbeck.
Debora, 52, of DeRidder was a 1974 graduate of Hornbeck High School and worked for many years for the Vernon Sheltered Workshop. When her health declined, she moved to
DeRidder where she lived and made close friends at the DeRidder Rehab and Retirement Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck but attended the DeRidder Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her
parents James and Verla Hewitt Robertson.
Survivors are one brother, Thomas Sconce of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four aunts, Billie Dowden, Bonnie Holifield, Ruby Faulk and Ruth Woodle all of Leesville; and a host of close friends and
family.
