Sandra Sue Kealaula, 66, passed from this life on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at her residence at Leesville.
Funeral services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. Minister officiating will be Jerry L. Jeane. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Leesville under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of
Leesville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Chapel and Thursday, June 22, 2009 from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
Survivors include one daughter,
Cynthia “Cindy” Midkiff and husband Clay; two sons, Herman Kealaula and fiancé Sarah and Jack Kealaula, Jr. all of Leesville; eight grandchildren and two very dear friends, Linda “Mamma Cruz” and Joy Roberts.
She was a native of
Kentucky but had lived in Leesville since 1964. She worked at Byrd Regional Hospital as a Ward Clerk for over 20 years. Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to play bingo and watch LSU and New Orleans Saints football games.
Her favorite hobbies were sports and family barbeques. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.mem.com.
