Funeral services for Gladys Self, 88, of Anacoco will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Huey Haymon and Rev. Larry Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the Good
Hope Cemetery in Anacoco. Friends may visit Thursday, May 7, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
and on Friday, May 8 from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Self passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Byrd
Regional Hospital in Leesville. She was a life long resident of Vernon Parish and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Cecil Self and son Cecil Lee Self.
She is survived by
daughter-in-law Bobbie Self of Florien; four grandchildren, Angie Self, Andrea Self, Robert G. Sellers Jr., and Randall L. Sellers; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of the
Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
