Funeral services for Julian Dixon, 25, of Leesville will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009 at
Greater Love Christian Center on 403 West Union Street in Leesville, with Pastor Carolyn Anderson officiating.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in
Leesville.
Julian Marquis Dixon, born September 5, 1983 in Lynwood, Calif., was the son of Cheketha Dixon and Ronald Jackson. He lived his formative years in California but graduated from Leesville High School in 2002. Upon graduation,
Julian enlisted in the United States Navy serving his country as a naval seaman for 4 years. More recently, he was employed at the Louisiana State School where he helped counsel troubled teens. He was an active member of Greater Love Christian Center
working consistently with the youth and music departments. Julian was a loving and devoted father, son, brother and friend. He was called home on April 21, 2009.
Julian leaves behind to cherish his memory, his immediate family
residing in Leesville, his grandparents, Pastor Carolyn Anderson and Deacon Frank Anderson; two great aunts, Barbara Stephens and Yvonne Louis; his mother, Cheketha Dixon; his uncle James White and his wife Yvette; his sisters Ynisha Anderson,
Keyawona Dixon, and Miracle Dixon; his niece, Aryiana Moore; his son Javion Deondre Pierson; his brother in the Lord, Christopher Leonard; numerous cousins; and many close friends.
