Inez Dryden Funderburk

Funeral services for Inez Dryden Funderburk will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Big
Hammock Baptist Church with Bro. Shawn Wagner and Bro. Bill Blackman officiating.
Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Hineston. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. today, April 14 in Labby Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Funderburk, 83, of Hineston, was born April 16, 1925 to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Houston Dryden.
She was a homemaker and a retired nurses’ assistant from Fair Oaks Nursing Home. She was a member of Hineston
Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Andrew “Buck” Funderburk; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Houston Dryden; and her infant grandsons, Roger and Rodney Smith.
Survivors include three daughters,
Elaine Smith and husband Frankie of Hineston, Elsie Mae Williams of Hineston, and Sandra Barnes of Alexandria; one son, Jessie Funderburk and wife Linda of Trinity, Texas; 17 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, three
step-great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Betty Jo Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Josh Gordy, Pappy Gordy, Patrick Turnage, Russell Turnage, David Davis and
Delbert Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bufford Woodham and Richard Davis.
The family would like to thank Dubois Hospital in Alexandria, her caregivers Cindy and LaSandra.
Services are under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
