Funeral services for Julia Colbert, 48, of DeRidder, were held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Agape Church of God in Christ in Leesville with the Revs. Robert Miller, Maurice Johnson, Ronald Jones, Amos Richardson, Douglas
Wright and Eric Kennedy officiating. Burial followed in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Colbert passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at her residence in DeRidder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.B.
and Katherine Ingram and brothers Darrell C. Cole and Milton W. Cole.
She is survived by her companion Jimmie Taylor of DeRidder; daughter, Naomi Colbert of Shreveport; two brothers, Lee Arthur Wilson and his wife, Ruth of Colfax and
Otis Cole and wife, Gilda, of DeRidder; one sister, Betty Miller and husband, Robert, of Batesville, Miss.; four grandchildren, Ashley Brannon, Annalesha Brannon, and Teddy Smith, all of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and
great nephews.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
