Funeral services for Orie E “Woody” Woods, 63, of Leesville will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March
18, 2009 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. The burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Leesville with full military honors. Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home.

Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Mr. Woods passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Saint Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. He was retired military and civil
service and was a member of American Legion Post #387 and VFW Post #1601. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Woody is survived by his wife Maria Ortiz Woods of Leesville; sons Christopher Woods of Shreveport, Toney Ortiz of
Leesville, and Pedro Ortiz, Jr. of Hammond; daughters Lucy Harman of Anacoco, Wanda Thrash of Ft. Myers, Fla. Elisha Arbie of Alexandria; sister Beverly Doan of Benton, Ark.; brother Benny Caldwell of Benton, Ark.; and six
grandchildren.
