Sharon was a resident of Mart, Texas,
when she went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on March 5, 2009, after a short illness.
Sharon was born in Many, the daughter of Pinkus and Dinah Spears.
She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Richard A.
Warner, Jr., of Mart, Texas; two sons, Richard A Warner III of Grand Prairie, Texas, and SSG Michael A. Warner of Fort Bragg, N.C.; two grandchildren, Brooke J. Warner of Burleson, Texas, and Logan R. Warner of Hope Mills, N.C.; her parents, Pinkus
and Dinah Spears of Hornbeck; and her brother, Donald Spears and his family of Hornbeck.
Sharon, due to her father’s work as a heavy equipment operator, attended 20 schools in 12 years and graduated from high school in Rolling Fork,
Miss. Warm, smiling, friendly and outgoing, she never met a stranger.
She was a licensed beautician for many years but found her true calling as an artist and miniaturist. Her miniature creations are proudly owned and displayed by
hundreds. Working for her Lord, she taught Children’s Sunday School and was a church leader as Sunday School Director, Women on Missions Director, and Vacation Bible School Director.
As the wife of a career military officer, Sharon
lived in Louisiana, Massachusetts, Greece, Texas, Indiana, Hawaii, and Oklahoma. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in
Leesville.
