Funeral services for Linda G. Johnson, 51, of Leesville will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2009
at Johnson Temple Church of God In Christ in Leesville with Rev. Maurice Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the church.
Services are
under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Sister Linda heard the Lord calling her name on March 2, 2009 at Rapides Memorial Hospital in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by one
sister, Shirley Dudley and one brother, Michael Johnson.
She leaves behind to carry on the will of God and cherish her love and spirit, one daughter Sophelia Yvette Johnson, of Columbus, Ga.; three sons James Jackson Brown Jr., of
Columbus, Ga. who now resides in Leesville, Jeffrey O’Neal Brown of Pembrooke, N.C. and Justin Perez Brown of Leesville; a special friend, Charles Johnson and an ex-husband, James Brown; seven beautiful grandchildren, Tyashaun, Shawnece, Jaquan,
James III, Jordan, Jackson and Ava Grace; three sisters, Addie (Edward) Watson of San Antonio, Texas, Brenda (Matt) Williams of Leesville and Mary Ann (William) McGee of Cordova, Tenn.; five brothers, Leonard (Mary) Johnson, Rickey Johnson, Gregory
(Caroline) Johnson, Fredrick Johnson, of Leesville and Lester Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; brother-in-law William Dudley; sisters-in-law Theresa Bailey, and Maybelle Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and
friends.
