Leon Manning, 88, passed from this life on Feb. 26, 2009 in Onalaska, Texas .
His
funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, with Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery of Florien. Visitation will begin on Monday, March 2, 2009, at 4 p.m.
until 8 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home. Leon died of cancer and is survived by his wife, Lula Manning; his sisters Mamie Small of Many and Edna Miller of Leesville; his daughters Peggy Jenkins, Dianne LeFeat and Alvin (Dee) Barrientez of Onalaska,
Texas; his grandchildren, Billy and Jason Jenkins of Spring, Texas, Christina Davis of The Woodlands, Texas and Aaron LeFeat of Ft. Campbell, Ken.; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Hannah Jenkins of Spring, Texas, Saylor and Chesney Davis of The
Woodlands, Texas and Alexis Potter of Leesville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Jena Hennigan Manning. Leon was a wonderful friend, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who
knew him. He was excited to be reunited with all of his friends and family and finally be with his Savior.
