Funeral services for Hazel Elizabeth Dixon, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at Holly Grove Methodist Church of Anacoco with Rev. Dave Stewart and Rev. Mary Ann Carlson officiating.
Burial will follow in
Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hixson of Leesville. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.18, 2009 at Holly Grove Methodist Church until the time of the service on Thursday.
Hazel passed from this life on Feb. 15,
2009, at her daughter’s residence in Hornbeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orbin Dixon, and her sons, Donal Orbin Dixon, Walter Reid Dixon and Gary Dale Dixon.
She is survived by three daughters, Billie
Dougherty and husband Delbert E. of Anacoco, Sheila Laughlin and husband Ed of Hornbeck , Debbie Bowden of Leesville and one son, Bobby Dixon and wife Dona of Anacoco; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
