Jerry Belsha

Funeral services for Jerry Belsha, 68, of Anacoco will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, with the Rev. Ken Dickerson officiating. The burial will follow in the Cold Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 p.m. until time of funeral on Thursday at the church.
Jerry passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10 in his residence in Anacoco.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Anacoco. He retired from Powell
Lumber Company after 27 years of service. He also worked several years for the Vernon Parish Police Jury.
Jerry had a deep love for his family, his horses and his cur dogs. He was a loyal friend and generous neighbor.
He
will forever be remembered for his story-telling of past adventures with family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Elaine “Dolly” Belsha; son Kanalous and Angela Belsha; daughters, Connie and Ron Cornelius
and Laura and Jeremy McRae; mother Lou Reid Belsha; brother Lane and Lorena Belsha; sister Faerie and Dean Jackson all of Anacoco; grandchildren Wacey, Keisha, Kayla, Ashtyn, Derrin, Kally, Dylan, Cole, Tyler, Julie and Jace; great grandchildren
Hannah, Kalleigh, and Kaden and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
