Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor McDonald will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday February 4 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville with
Rev. Buddy Airhart and Rev. Jack Jones officiating.
Burial will
follow in the
Welcome Cemetery in Simpson under the direction of Hixson of Leesville.
Visitation wll be from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. today, Feb. 3 and from 8 a.m. until service time on Wednesday in the Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDonald, 84, of Leesville went home on Saturday, Jan 30, 2009 at her residence in Leesville. She was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in
Vernon Parish. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
friend and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy McDonald.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry Lee McDonald of Slagle, Edward Ray and wife Connie McDonald of St. Paul,
N.C. and Mark Dennis and wife Rhomaine McDonald of Hanover, Mass.; two daughters Nita and Husband Arthur Henry of Burr Ferry and Catherine Elaine Wagner of Leesville; one sister,Blanche Jinks of Anacoco; seven grandchildren Pamela, Doug, Amanda,
Jason, Shane, Tommy and Theresa; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
