Funeral services for Rollie Lane Stephens, 54, of Evans will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 in the Grace Baptist Church in Evans with the Rev. David Richmond officiating.� Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery with
military honors performed by the US Navy. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Stephens passed away Wednesday, January 21 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Rollie was a lifelong
resident of the Evans community. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a retired insulator and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He loved to garden, fish and was an avid Harley rider.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Rollie Bill
Stephens, Jr., his mom Vonnell Miller, sister, Charla Miller Young and his granddaughter, Kyla Lee Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife of 28 years Wanda Stephens of Evans; sons, James Stephens of Evans, Chris (wife, Krystal)
Stephens of Cottonwood, Josh Stephens of Evans and Greg Stephens of Pasadena, Texas; daughter, Darla Stephens of Pasadena, Texas; brothers, Lesley Stephens of Sulphur and Eddie Miller of Evans; sisters, Shiela (husband, Tommy) Cochran and Grace
(husband, Steve) McGlothlin both of Evans; and seven grandchildren.
�Visitation will be held in the church from noon Friday, January 23, until service time Saturday, January 24.
